Writing as Rose Warner, I’m thrilled to have signed a three-book deal with British publisher Canelo for a new Second World War women’s fiction (saga) series.

These stories follow three female teachers, who, with their students, are evacuated from London to rural Eastern England in September 1939 just before war is declared.

The first book, The Teacher Evacuees, will be out in October 2025 in paperback and ebook.

Canelo says: ‘Thrilling, heartwarming, atmospheric and emotional, this wartime trilogy is a fantastic blend of well-researched fact and brilliantly written fiction.’
